Our winter survival course will be held rain, snow or shine January 20 – 22, 2017 at 9AM in Cumberland, Rhode Island. This course will cover some basic and intermediate skills that anyone can learn including:
- What is survival?
- Priorities during the winter months
- Kit overview
- Fire Techniques
- Tinder, Kindling and Fuel
- Emergency shelter
- Tarp shelters
- Natural shelters
- Water disinfection
- Food/Traditional camp cooking
- Hygiene/First Aid
- Basic Navigation
- Audio and visual SOS techniques
- Axe techniques and safety

Course fee is $300.00, includes 3 Days and 2 nights, on 50 private acres of woods, ponds and fields. All meals will be provided, bathrooms and indoor classroom space will be available. Upon registering for this class you will receive an email within 24 hours with a detailed packing list, phone number and information about where and when to meet.
