What is a CSA?
CSA stands for community supported agriculture. A CSA directly connects people to the farm or garden their food comes from. By paying an upfront subscription fee, members share the risks and rewards of farming. In exchange they receive nutrient rich produce as well as the opportunity to connect with like minded people.
Our CSA is currently running now through November 30th 2021. The cost is $200 per crop share or eight weeks of the program. Weeks can be consecutive or spilt up over the season. We encourage folks to split up shares among families and friends if desired. Plant starts and produce can be picked up at the garden in Coventry or delivered, depending on the situation.
This season we hope to offer a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs as well as plant starts for your garden including but not limited to: shiitake mushrooms, Asian greens, scallions, broccoli, swiss chard, beets, lettuce, kale, radishes, turnips, sorrel, mesclun mix, spinach, pea and sunflower shoots etc. as well as other edible flowers and herbs.
