Ice Fishing, Lake Wentworth, NH

Journal Notes: February 13, 2016 – From around 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM temperature dropped from 17 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit as recorded in nearby Laconia, NH. Westerly wind was blowing steady at 15 mph with gusts around 25 mph or more. 9°F  x  25 mph wind  =  -12.1°F (feels like) Ice was 8 or more inches thick average. Set tip-ups and fished with a jig near eastern bank of Triggs Island to escape the wind. Also learned about setting cusk lines…
